Life in Starbucks Chapter 2

Times fly RAPIDLY. Its a month edi in Starbucks Pavilion. Everythings seems to be OK to me but always make a lot of mistake, I HATE THAT!!! Now I can make the beverages without refer to the book recipe and I have learned a lot in these 4 weeks, really appreciate that.. Thanks for all the seniors there and I am so naughty because I always being EMO whenever those seniors pointed out My weaknesses, just like yesterday I really don't know what's the hell wrong with the Whip Cream's xxxxxx what we called that???? (hmm.. Its a stainless steel bottle that squeeze the whip cream out from it and garnish on top of the ice blended beverages in Starbucks.) When I did that on the ice blended beverages, the cream was not in the shape it should have to be,when some of the seniors noticed that they said I was playing with the whipped cream but I was not and really not on that time, I started to being EMO edi. Whenever they asked me, or called me I pretend I never hear and no respond to them because I was really angry that time.

This is me, the real me.

Today I was so embarassing , I went to the store room to get some stuffs since some of the stuff were finished, so need to get it from the store room which is located in the basement car park. You guys know what I did ?? after I packed all the stuffs that need to send up in store room , I put it all the stuffs in one big garbage bag and end up all the stuff fell out especially the milks when on the way to the elevator. sobs.. see.. so "Clever" I am... haiz.. I really beh tahan Myself lorrr... like that also can, put all stuff in one garbage plastic end up........ speachless.. I think You guys also speachless de lorrr horr??

Until here then.. nothing much to talk about edi!!!

Back to College

Almost 3 months staying at home for doing nothing, today was my 1st day back to college again. The college never changed much but the lecturer did changed a lot, Bakery and Pastry no longer teach by Ms Gan and Mr Colin anymore but it's Mr Jaafar and others chef that I don't recognise them because they never teach me before in the practical and there is another new lecturer for the Japanese II , Mr Loo is still teaching but not the whole group anymore as like time, keep on rushing teaching group by group by his own.

Cuts the crap, today was the 1st lecture for Strategic Management in Hospitality Industry,Miss Vivian teaching again and she is a nice lecturer though, today she came to me and offer me a help that she said she'll send the notes she teach me as a references in my resit paper and she also informed Me that this subject's syllabus already changed,will become much more easier I hope , I don't want to resit and resit it again!!! It's waste of money and times. I am so glad that I have a such lecturer like her ,Ms Amanda and Mr Christopher as well. From today onwards will attended lecture with all My Juniors and I am the only one Senior in the lecture, feeling a bit weird for me but never mind I just attend the lecture and no harm for me to studying with them.

But too bad, today Mr Christopher's class was cancelled,can't meet him this week tim.. haiz.. I got this news when I was attending the Maintenance and Engineering lecturer with juniors,hey don't be mistaken k!!! I attending this class just because of I nothing to do while waiting for the next lecture on 4 pm and not to resit this paper because I passed this. This time he teaching the juniors by using text books and notes,the notes is still the same as last year he given to us and 100 no change at all.

Thats all for today,hmm.. I will updates as everyday as I could if possible. It's late night , gotta sleep le.. tada peeps.. CIAOZ!!!

Life in Starbucks!!!

Sorry peepss!!! for long time never update my blog. I can't online these few days because of the failure of the internet connection but at last I can online now and continue updates my blog again.

This week is my 2nd weeks in Starbucks, working in Pavilion's Starbucks is not that easy as I think because there will be many customers during the weekends and weekdays night, You may notice that most of the customer are foreigners "Ang Mo" and those high class businessman and women. Why so many foreigners and business partners ?? because so many hotels and offices are around around pavilion such as WESTIN, J W MARRIOT, DORSETT , Ritz Carlton and Crowne Plaza where the place was the former KL Hilton last time.

Working in Starbucks must be fast in action,no slow slow action if not You will kena "Shoot" by the customer once you are late in preparing the drink, I did experienced it before, the customner said :" Can You be faster a bit arr ?? so slow one ?" ha!!! that time my face became as red as a the strawberry.. So Paiseh la that time.. aiks..... I wonder why I always do the drinks so slow and my actions are slow too.. haiz... hate that..

Almost 3 weeks I working in starbucks , the staff are not that friendly as I think because of them are Malays and only 2 indians there if I am not mistaken but nevermind, I just do the task they assign to me and the job I should do that's all!!! I don't care, if they be good to me , I can be good to them, if they treat me bad just f***k off!!!! and now I can slowly catch up what I learned from the senior but still need a lot of improvement and I am glad that I'm almost memorize all the recipe of beverages, if not it will be more tention for me because the cafe are busy all the time.

At last, My classes will start at this coming friday and hope that it's a good start for me and wish all the juniors and those who are same batch with me now are studying advance diploma good lucks and BEST OF LUCKS!!!

My 1st Part Time Job

Yuhoooooooooo!!!! finally, I got a part time job at Starbucks in the Pavillion. This is the story how I get the job.. Wheeeeee...  

In Sunday afternoon, I received a called from Starbucks Store's Manager in Pavillion Mr Rahim. Here is the conversation how We talk in the phone:

Me: Hello 

Starbucks' store Manager (Mr Rahim) : Hello,Is that Lim Yau Min?? 

Me: Yeah, I am whose on the line ??

Starbucks' Store Manager (Mr Rahim): We are calling from Starbucks Pavillion, I am Mr Rahim You had  applied a job here a months ago, I just want to ask you  do You still interested in this Job??

Me: Yeah sure, I do. 

Starbucks' Store Manager : Ok, Lim Yau Min, can I what are You doing current ?? 

Me: I have been staying at home for almost 3 months, because I failed to grad my diploma and  I am looking for a part time job. 

Starbucks' Store Manager: Are You free on tomorrow ?? Can You come for Pavillion's Starbucks for your 1st Interview?? 

Me: Ok.. Sure.. What is the time then ??

Starbucks' Manager: how about 11 o clock ?? are You ok??

Me: Sure.. No problem. Thank You!! 

Yeah!! This is the conversations in between me and the Starbucks' Store Manager. 

Monday during the Interview , He asked a lot of questions and I just answered him whatever in My mind.... but when he asked me a question , I was stunned. This is the question " Do You have any ACCOMPLISHMENT before??  Oh My Godness.. I don't know how to answer this.. oh.. My.. I just answer NORMAL.. Then He said , He will called me for 2nd interview IN 2 DAYS time . 

The day after the Interview on TUESDAY.. I received a called again from Starbucks

Me: Hello 

Starbucks' Manager: Hello, Is that Lim ??

Me:Ya,I am. 

Starbucks' Manager: I am calling from Starbucks, Mr Rahim here and I decided to take you as a BARISTA in Starbucks ,Can  You come over on 2 o clock later ?? 

Me: Sure, No Problem.. Thanks A lot. 

Starbucks' Manager: OK.. See You later..

Yuhoooo.. I got the job and I am not gonna stay at home anymore and wasting time.. haha .I got a part time job.... Yuhoooo..    

Today is my 2nd day of the work, everything is the order but really many peepss smoking in starbuck and throw it on the floor and not into the ashray..damn it.. aiks...Yeah, tomorrow I off.. can stay at home to rest.. wakaka...

Short Updates

It's been a time that I never update my blog edi... so paiseh.. 

Happy Mooncake Festival to everyone !!!  Nothing much to mention about  Mooncake Festival actually, every year's mooncake fest also same as usual and nothing much to celebrate for it. This year also the same but last night went to friend's house celebrate it but We never play lanterns or light up the candles, We just enjoyed chit-chat and nothing much. 

Today nothing much actually. haha.. same as usual just a normal Sunday but in the afternoon I received a called from Starbucks Coffee from Pavillion. Ha!! finally..finally.. finally.. I got a respond from starbucks after a month I went to seek for a part time job.. haha.. They called me go for interview on tomorrow 11 o clock.. Wish Me luck friends, I have been staying at home for almost 3 months.. Just doing nothing everyday , beside online and  chating. 

Tell You guys frankly that this is My 1st Part time job though,hope there won't have any obstacles for me..  wish me lucks and Happy Mooncake Festival to all My friends. Nitez..

Saturday Night!!

YEAP!!!YEAP!!!YEAP!!! A rainy Saturday night,well but not only Saturday but it rains almost A WEEK.What will You guys doing in the Saturday night usually?? go clubbing with Your gangs?? hang out with Your boy/girl friend I wonder why keep on raining to these few weeks?? sigh.... I don't like rainy day anyway because will make my feeling down sometimes,do You guys have the same feeling like Me?? I think most of You guys did right?? ha!!

?? or just staying at home and being ALONE!!! but I already used to it edi, since I have been staying at home for past few months. sigh..... lazy me.

Well,usually Saturday night I will have fun with My cousin in My granny's house, every Saturday night I will follow My mom back to My granny house for a small reunion with My mom's sisters and brothers and They will have their Majong session since then , I will have fun with all My cousins sisters and brothers there. HAHA!!! it seems like we are kids though but We are NOT.

Today same as usual, My mom go to My grandma's house but I am not following because for the past few weeks My uncles were busy then I couldn't meet My cousins but today I have a six sence that they are not coming too.. So,I just planned to staying at home only.

Oh ya!!! Do You guys watching THE INTERVIEW WITH LEE CHONG WEI (零距离）just now on 8 pm in Astro channel 301 AEC, just now I watched that, it was interesting though, He did a hard works since he was in younger age so now he can achieve a silver medal from Beijing Olyimpics games. That's what we called "Hard work pay off success"

Look OUT Point!!!

很久没用华文来写blog了，每次都用英文来写部落格都是因为要训练自己的英文。。看看自己的英文程度到了哪里，原来我的英文并不是很好也蛮差地。。我其他的朋友都比我还要好。skip 了 这一大堆的废话。 我要进入正题咯！。 =）

各位朋友，你们有到山上和朋友喝过茶吗？？有去过的话，我猜你们也知道我在说着哪里对吧？？没有去过的朋友，你们不妨上去走走，喝杯茶，看看夜景，还蛮enjoy 一 下的。这是我第一次，给我的感觉还不错，天气很清凉（因为是在晚上嘛）而且那儿的夜景也不错一下，可是有一颗大树遮盖住了亭亭玉立国油双峰塔，真是大杀风景。

对了，我还没有告诉大家我到哪儿去喝茶。。哈哈。。 deng deng deng deng。。那就是坐落在太子园的山上（不知道什么名，好像是 “丫丫山） 的Gasoline。

就在上个星期四，我和我的小学朋友来了个小聚会，人数只有仅仅的11 位，只是占了班上的1/4 人，可是当晚的气氛很热闹，也见回了很久没见的 "朋友仔" 有一位我几乎认不出他是谁了！！ 真的变了许多。我们谈了很多关于我们现在的东西！！

让我来介绍介绍他们吧！！　

现在的谢佩琪，已不再是以前时常被老师骂的谢佩琪了，现在是位在旅行团里的一位负责account clerk 。　

以前很爱唱歌的陈丽玲，已经变成了一位商科管理的学院生，很久没听见他在唱歌咯。

以前是一位巡查员的胡雪婷，已经出来社会工作了。（好像在半功读也！！）而且也有他的另一半咯。。　

以前我的好兄弟黄叶胜及黄伟康都已经出来工作了。而另来那两位黄朕辉及黄国亮还在半功读。　

以前是卫生员的洪慧珊，都已经成了和我同科系的学妹！！！他现在在忙着他的大考（要加油哦）

以前４Ｕ班的副班长温婉芯及６Ｕ班的正班长胡显龙分别在一个在半功读，一个也在拉曼里修Ｍｕｌｔｉｍｅｄｉａ　ｄｅｓｉｇｎ　科。

而我呢！！　我不用说，你们都该知道我在干嘛吧！！！　哈哈　

时间过得很快呀。转眼间就８年了，在这８年里都有很多变化更何况是我们这班无名的小卒。

我们在那儿谈得不亦乐乎，也拍了很多照做为留念。。最可惜的是我们以前的班级任都无法出席因为明天他还要教书而且我们的聚会是在晚上，时间无法搭配。

Today Me kena SCOLD by My mom AGAIN... this is not the 1st time, it have been many many times, hundred times, thousand times, million times but I still couldn't change My bad habit. My mom keep on scolding me because of I never study at all even though I staying at home for 2 months edi and never seek for a job since I am so free currently.

Haiz, I don't know what's wrong with Me?? I really want to work hard but the evil side of Me keep on asking me to stay at home and not seek for any jobs and the angel side of me keep asking me to study hard, find a job and not to wasting anytime.

Time is precious,in My age I should join more activities and not to staying at home and doing nothing at home , just facing on computer for the whole days. I never thinking for My future, it's all dark for My future. Arrgghhh!!!!!! I wonder how I survive in the future....

Times flies , 2 years ago we are a stranger to each other after 2 years we became a best friends even we seems like a family to each other.
Even though I never talk much in class, but I treat all of you are my best friends. The 1st person I know was Jun Pin and Zhong Yi and both of us were same group in the bm assignment.
Sequentially, I get to know each of them in every tutorial classes (don’t need to mention so many name la… ha-ha)

I still remember In sem 2 , that day was Tuesday and our classes were until 9 pm at night, but after Mr Jafaar class about 12 o clock ,Sheng Han , Wan Seah , Li Yun , Jocelyn , Ai Li , Yoke Fong and I was decided to went to Low Yat plaza Sing K… and I am very enjoyed on that and what a funny thing was , when we were on the way back to college in the bus .. The accounting lecturer called Sheng Han and informed him that the class was cancelled. Ha-ha…. What a Hilarious thing.
Beside, our class had gone through all the hard times and we get a good result in return, it’s because of all the effort we paid for it and it was never waste.
At last, I have to apoloqize to all of you, if I did anything which was offensive to you guys … and very sorry about that....

Gathering with My 2 buddies

Woohooo!!!! Yesterday We have a gathering in Jusco because Kok Keen was coming back from Kuantan to attend his brother's convo, so yesterday it was a good opportunities for us to meet up. Since we never meet each other such a long time ago, it was a months ago before Kok Keen started his Uni Life in Kuantan UMP.

I met Kok Keen at 1 o clock, since he said that he will reach KL about 1 pm and Phak Weng would be a bit late because he just came back from outside and he was having his lunch that time when I called him. Since Kok Keen haven't take his lunch and he decided to have vegetarian food outside Jusco.

An hour later, Phak Weng finally arrived but unfortunately his sandles was spoiled when he was on the way to Jusco.. HAHA!!! So cham la Phak Weng... so no choice le, We went up to the 1st floor and buy another new one.

Cuts the crap, later we decided where to go ?? because Jusco was no place for us to shop. At 1st they decided to buy a dvd back to my house and watch but we couldn't find any nice movies there then We decided heading to KIM GARY for our " YUM CHA" session. I ordered a " HONG DAU BING" ( Red Bean Ice in Hong Kong style ) and a FRENCH TOAST.YUMMMY!!! and both of them had ordered a so called "Maggie Mee" in Hong Kong style.

Olympics Fever !!!

Wootttsss!!!! The Olympics Fevers is now here. This year the Olympics Games is held on China, Beijing with the date of 08.08.08. This Number "8" represent a lucky number to all the chinese because it sounds "Fatt" means prosperity.

This time,there are 204 countries participate in Olympics games except Burnei, some of the country never heard before and also don't know it's located especailly those country's name end with "tan".

Well, I have nothing much to say about this and just wish You guys enjoy watching this sport games event and to those Malaysian who loves badmintons, hope our team can make at least one gold medal from this Olympics games.

Which one is suit me more ??

Hmm!!! I wonder which course is more suitable for Me, If I really decided to further studies in Singapore. Hmm.. but the one annoyed me is about the course !!! I did a research in the Singapore Polytechnique schools.. almost all the Singapore poly(s) are offered the same courseses hmm... but the entry requirement are slightly different. The Singapore's Polytech that I spotted is Nayang Polytech. The minimum requirement for Nanyang Polytech will be English (1119) Grade 1-6 , Elementary Maths or Additional Maths Grade 1-6 and Any other 3 subjects Grade 1-6 as well as have at least sat for one of the following subjects :

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! so sad that My SPM result is just "Ngam Ngam" meet the requirement they needed,so regret that never STUDY HARD HARD!!!!! What can I do ?? Just try to apply only le... hope I can get Offered lo... But I will still try to search for more detail in others Poly(s) before I made the final decisions.

I LOVE Singapore so much, really hope that can studying in Singapore and working in Singapore as what My eldest sister did. Phew !!!SAY IS EASY BUT DO IS HARD.Must really do hard to prove that lo ... CAN'T JUST SAY and NO ACTIONS!!! (but this is actually what I always did ,lol)

Well... hope that I can achieve what I want and hope I can further My studies to Singapore..... All My friends, wish Me lucks ya!!!!

Accounting Vs Hotel Management

Yeah!! It's the time to have a good thought for My future. Since I have failed My 3 subjects in My Resit examinations, so it cost me couldn't proceed to the Advance Diploma and the Convocation. I have different thought came into My mind then , does the hotel industry suitable for me ? Is this what I want to be in the future ? It's very though, have to work on public holidays and even saturday and sunday weekend.

Then the word" Accounting" have came into my mind, I had "fall in love" with Accounting since form 5, god blessed that I can scored Principles of Accounting in My SPM examinations. I had been thinking to take Accounting , before that but I had been told by My Parents that Accounting is not an easy course and It will be getting more tougher when the times goes by and what I will going to learn in Accounting are TAXATIONS, COMPANY LAWS,BUSINESS LAW,AUDITING AND so on. Sounds like so bored for all these subjects huh ? But now the problem is should I give up My 3 papers that I still remaining?? Some of my friends might think that I had been spent 2 years in TARC studying Hotel Management but I have no regret what I had learned there.

Back to accounting, If I really decieded to take accounting course I may go for LCCI then I will go to Singapore to take My diploma. Then the ACCA will be the future thoughts after I complete the LCCI in KL and the diploma in Singapore.

Last night I have received a message from my sis "liz" what did she said to me was

"Brother ,please give your future a good thought.Sing Yee and I will always support You ,don't let us down. Work Hard.

Sis , I won't let You all down by Me.. I will work hard since now..

What an "Embarassing" Gathering!!

Yeah!!! Today is our gathering in "Old Town".Who are they ?? My primary school's friends again but it was the other gang,it was Wan Xin , Hui Shan, Zhen Hui, Kok Leong, Wei Kang and of course ME!!!! Long time we never meet each other edi, since the last gathering on form 5, it was at 3 years ago... Time flies and without waiting for people. They really change a lot especially the 3 guys , Zeng Hui , Kok Leong and Wei Kang. They become taller and taller and even taller than me, WOOTTS!!!! it was definitely looks like the others person and I have no changes since standard 6, the size is getting bigger, the face's outlook are still the same, nothing changes and Hui Shan as well.

We had order some drinks while We were chatting and what I ordered was " Ice Blended Mocha Coffee" We chit chat many stuff and They even ask me to organize a gathering because I am super duper free nowadays. AIKSS.. need to find a job, can't just sit at home and doing nothing except online and chatting.. ok, back to the topics ,after I had consumed the " Mocha Coffee I had ordered, OMG !!!.. My heart was beating very fast and feel uncomfortable, so We decided to end early due to uncomfortable of My heart.

After arrived at home, I quickly check My blood pressure and I got a SHOCKKK !!!! My BP (blood pressure) was DAMNNN HIGH!!!! It was 149/75 if not mistaken and My heart beat (Pulse) was 95 damn HIGHHHH!!! I quickly go to have a rest then and sit at there calm down my self after 15 minutes later, I checked My BP (Blood Pressure) again and the Heart beat was increased to 99.. OMG!!! I was so nervous on that time and My mom decided to bring me to "TONG SHIN" Hospital and consult a doctor there, he is a **SINGH** and he gone through all the "symthoms" (am I using the right word?? if not please correct me,Thank You) I have told him, He said it was normal and just because of "The induce of the Caffeine" I had consumed from the Ice blended Mocha and He gave some medicine of relaxion on the spot to reduce my anxiety and the heart beat.

And now , I feel better but I can fall asleep because I had consumed the Mocha Ice blended. Oh ya!!! Thanks for KOK LEONG who send me there and send me back and I appreciate most is thanks for the caring of You guys. I felt so sorry to You all, I will organise the next gathering ya.

You may have either have fun or bored while You are in this game becuase You may form a words or You may not because due to the limited tiles on your hand or the words form on the games boards.

8 Years Ago!!

I met 2 of my Primary classmates on wednesday... Really long time never meet them le,they really changed a lot since We graduated 8 years ago but they said I never change since 8 years ago, still the same outlook but for sure I gained weight and I pulled up my height also la. We crapping a lots regarding our standard 6 stuffs..
I miss those days, that time we are still small kids and we are under protected by our teachers, no gangsterism and we even celebrate "Children Day" on every end of the years.. that's the time we all having fun together on that day , We bring our own foods then we share the foods we bring and enjoys ours laugther,it's really fun.
But now I have no chance to celebrate " Children Day" edi because I am not a child neiher a small boy and the naive, the innocent of the child is no longer around us and now we are studying in college,stress with our assignments , working and we have to face many challenges that in front us.
My standard 6 class teacher, I felt that he was very fierce at 1st during standard 4 but he was not , he is a good teacher for us ..... will never forgotten the knowledege he passed to me in the 3 years from std 4 to 6 he was my class teacher... he's really a " GOOD TEACHER" oo..... I respect him so much. =)
I think I am crapping all the way in this blog.. anyway, I hope I can meet all primary classmates once again , miss them so much.....

I still remember while I was in primary school days there are many things I am affraid of ,such as get scolded by teachers, wracked by teachers if there's something wrong with my homeworks or I never finished the homeworks given by them. Besides, the days where the government's nurse came to check the teeth of the students and the BCG injections for the standard 6 students.. everytime the nurse came, I am full of nervousness and I still remember I cried during the BCG injection in standard 6 , what ashame thing to me in the life.. I can't forgotten in the rest of my life.

A blinked an eyes already 8 years since I left the primary school, it's where the place full of happiness and sadness.
